New Ayuyu Battalion commander

On Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Kagman High School Drill Pad, C/LTC Aguon, Tessa Sablan, outgoing commander, passed the Ayuyu Battalion command colors to C/LTC Reyes, Frances, incoming commander, by the authority of the Senior Army Instructor, CPT James Burke, and Kagman High School Principal Benjamin Jones. The new commander, C/LTC Reyes, Frances, has the  outstanding leadership capabilities and dedication  to reach the prestigious position of battalion commander in the KHS JROTC program for the school year 2021/22. She will now hold total responsibility for what the battalion does or does not do. Ayuyu cadets are more than honored to have C/LTC Reyes lead the Kagman JROTC into the future during these difficult times.  KHS JROTC had two honored  guests present, the BOE Chairman Andrew Orsini and Assistant Commissioner of Education Eric Magofna. Both guests gave inspirational  remarks.  Kagman High School Principal Benjamin Jones, Kagman High School Vice Principal of Discipline Francisca Castro, and Kagman High School Vice Principal of Academics Shirley Norita were among the VIPs at the ceremony.  This will forever be a day to remember for the incoming commander, C/LTC Reyes, to carry the torch and a job well done for the outgoing commander, C/LTC Sablan, who will be attending Northern Marianas College this fall semester.
