KOROR (Palau Horizon) – The Bureau of Public Safety (BPS) is investigating the case of burglary in Aimeliik State in which more than $1,000.00 worth of engines were stolen by unidentified suspect on Sunday.
According to the report, at around 11:03 a.m. on July 4, Prudence Techur called the police station and reported that someone entered into his house at Mchemyangel and took the following engines:two propeller of 200hrp Yamaha engine worth $600., one propeller of 115hrp Yamaha engine worth $600., one lower unit of 200hrp Yamaha engine, $200; and one lower unit of 85 hrp Yamaha engine $200.
Police probe showed, suspect entered the house by destroying the back door.
The case is under investigation.
Meanwhile, on July 3, another incident of burglary was reported at the Ngaraard Elementary School (NES)
Two minor suspects were arrested for stealing two laptops.
According to the report, suspects stole the laptops by destroying the school library’s back door and fled away.
Police, however, arrested the male suspects on a manhunt operation being conducted against them.
Suspects were brought to the police substation and charged with burglary and grand larceny.
