The class will be held on a vessel called Alingano Maisu under the guidance of Master Navigator, Sesario Sewralur.
The Micronesian Voyaging Society and Palau Community College (PCC) work together for the third time to offer this practical learning experience which focuses on navigation and way-finding without the use of modern navigational instruments.
This learning journey will rely on naming and knowing the stars for navigation and directional purposes, weather observations and predictions, and knowing the functions and operation of traditional sailing canoes.
