During President Remengesau’s weekly press conference, Minister Alexander Merep said that this year’s theme is OBF is Proclaiming and Reconfirming Palau’s Heritage.Merep said the ministry has finalized the program and has started sending invites for the event.The event this week,will also give the public a chance to meet the Palau’ delegation to the Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa.It was learned that the Palau delegation will be conducting debut performances.The Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa will be on July 15 to 31.
During the press conference, the president said that Palau’s Honorary Counsel in Los Angeles has donated 10 bicycles to Palau, which will be raffled out during OBF.The OBF showcases Palau’s unique culture through performing arts, food, arts and crafts events.
