The participants of the 8th Regional Fisheries Observers and Coordinators Workshop will be doing assessment of their respective programs and will share informations, experiences and expectations with the newly established Tuna Commission for three or four days.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss various issues concerning Fisheries and fish stocks and how to come up with a better solution to all problems concerning the health, management and conservation of fish stocks in the Pacific Islands.
The goal of the workshop is to harmonize the collection of informations and procedures.
One of the concerns of the said workshop is to monitor and manage highly migratory fish stocks in the Pacific Islands.
