The Association has set a total of 14 categories for their event which will be held on October 1, in line with the celebration of Palau’s 14th Independence Day.
The Palau Boat Racing Association in a press statement said that the following divisions 0-35 horse power, 36 to 59 horse power, 60 to 70 horse power, 71-85 horse power, 86-115 horse power, 116 to 140 horse power, 141 to 175 horse power, 200 horse power have been set.Other categories are modified, super hero + 300 horse power V-Bottom, 225-250 horse power, Twin 200 Boat, Tunnel Boat and the open category.The Association said no entries have been submitted yet for the said categories.The Association will be having its final meeting on September 18 at 5 p.m. at the Drop-Off Bar in Malakal.All members are urge to attend the meeting.
