In a presentation conducted by the PCS at the Koror State Assembly Hall on Wednesday, Ngelechel Etpison, Senior Development officer showed the programs being conducted by the PCS in protecting the conservation areas.
“The aim of our presentation is to solicit support from the State Legislators for the allotment of our program.” Etpison said in an interview.
The PCS has implemented three programs which are the Land Use Planning, Conservation Program and Administration and Development Program. Its vision is to promote healthy environment system.
“The PCS is a non-profit organization which works with the States to develop sustainable management practices within the states for the conservation areas.” Etpison said.
Last year, the PCS sought support from the Melekeok State. Like the Melekeok State,Koror State has also shown support for the PCS programs.
The PCS is also conducting fund raising activity to support their programs.
