The participants are employees from State and National government, Judiciary and Legislature and private sectors.
The workshop was held on June 3 and 4 at the conference room of Palau Conservation Society.The workshop discussed about Recordkeeping for Good Governance Toolkit, the Role of the National Archives of Palau in Good Recordkeeping, the Recordkeeping capacity checklist, Record Plan and PARBICA Record Plan.The workshop held exercises to teach participants how to use PARBICA Record Plan.The instructors were Danielle Wickman of the National Archives of Australia and PARBICA, Mark Crookston and Susan Skudder both of Archives New Zealand and PARBICA.Wickman talked about Recordkeeping for Good Governance Toolkit while Crookston talked about Disposal and the Recordkeeping for Good Governance Toolkit.Skudder talked about why is disposal a good idea in Recordkeeping for Good Governance.Naomi Ngirakamerang, Executive Director of the Palau National Archives was also at the workshop and discussed about the Role of the National Archives in good recordkeeping.
