The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has recently announced that it has received formal notification from Palau regarding the matter.
HKSAR in a statement said that it is welcoming the clarification made by the Palau authority and believes that the arrangement will facilitate the exchange between people of the two places.It added that the travel trade and airlines have been informed of the clarification.
At present, 137 countries/territories have granted visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to HKSAR passport holders.
