Lorraine Rivera and Lalii Chin recently joined the team, bringing with them new skills and perspectives to the organization. Lorraine has a background in business administration and non-profit work, and also serves as the president of the non-profit organization, Seeds of Promise. Lalii has a background in law, has worked as a public defender, and presently works as legal counsel for the PPLA. Lori Colin, PAWS’s founder, commented: “We are glad to have them with PAWS because they both understand the importance of animal welfare, and the impact it can have on public health and the environment.” All PAWS board members serve in a strictly volunteer capacity for three-year terms.
