During their brief meeting, Keller offered congratulatory remarks to the president for having been re-elected to a second term.
Mori expressed appreciation to the mayor and his delegation for their visit and their hospitality extended to him and his delegation when he visited Pingelap late last year.
The president discussed with the visiting party a number of issues that have direct impact on outer islands in the federation including sea and air transportation, food security, tsunami and sea-level rise, etc.
The Pingelap officials were in Pohnpei to hold a regular session of their municipal council as well as doing official business with state and national officials.
