Festivities started at 8:30 a.m. and all were invited.
This year’s theme was “Equal Access to Education, Training and Science and Technology: Pathway to Decent Work for Women.”
Pohnpei Gov. John Ehsa presented the welcoming remarks that were followed by a keynote address from Sen. Magdalena Walter. The program included presentations from 25 Pohnpei dance groups.
This event was organized by the Pohnpei State Office of Social Affairs in conjunction with the Women’s Office and the Pohnpei Women’s Advisory Council.
