Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that drowsy drivers should not force themselves to drive because it might cause accidents.
He advised the drowsy drivers to pull over and do some stretching until drowsiness is gone.Aguon said a man and a woman met accidents on December 17 and 18 because they fell asleep while driving their vehicles.Aguon said the woman was driving her vehicle on Ngeruluobel in Airai Wednesday dawn when it run off the roadway.The vehicle was making a turn when the womanfall asleep.On December 18 at 2:10 am, police responded to a single vehicle that run off the road in Topside.Aguon said the man also fall asleep while driving his vehicle that caused it to run off the roadway.
