The president in an interview on Wednesday said that he asked for a leadership meeting with the Delegates and the Senate to try to identify the pending legislations to attach the budget for the incoming inauguration.
“So that we can save time and putting it as a rider in the pending legislations can also facilitate the process,”the President said.Remengesau said that the House passed an interim resolutions that will provide budget for the inauguration. He said the resolution went to the Senate and died in the Senate.“It is interesting to note the history of this meeting when we discus passing the continuing resolutions in the leadership meeting. The resolutions died in the Senate for obvious political reason,”he said. President said he will ask the Senate for reconsideration.“We will ask again the senate for reconsideration in this matter,” he said adding he would also ask for the consideration of other pending legislations.
