The newly mounted artworks were contributed by Ngarchelong State and PVA. Ngarchelong’s artwork depicts the Badrulchau, a cultural and historical site in Ngermetong, Ngarchelong and PVA’s artwork, a colored carved storyboard, depicts the story of Tebang.
The “Adopt-a-Wall” is a beautification project that was initiated by Palau Visitors Authority; whereby, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with then Ministry of Commerce and Trade was executed on January 7th 2007.In collaboration with the Bureau of Aviation, the completed artworks are displayed on the walls of the Immigration Area at the airport terminal. This is to enhance the image of our airport, as well as, to market and promote the uniqueness of States’ historical and natural attractions sites to our valued visitors to the Republic of Palau.
