Senate Floor Leader Alan Seid said that the supplemental budget is expected to be submitted to the Olbiil Era Kelulau by this week.
Seid said that Remengesau will be asking for additional budget to fund the water, sewer , pump station and electricity costs as a result of the increase in power rates.
Seid added that the supplemental budget is also expected to contain sources of revenue to finance areas needing funds.
He said that the passage of a supplemental budget was discussed during the leadership meeting on July 10.
Seid added that among the issues discussed during the meeting was the passage of the tax bills which is still before the Senate committees.
The OEK has 25 days for the July session and for 2008 , the last regular session will in October.
