Mariño said he received the letter in June 9, 2010.
The Ambassador is set to end his tour of duty on June 30 . He announced his farewell in a press release , June 7.
He also have farewell meeting scheduled with President Johnson Toribiong and other government officials on June 25 as well as other farewell activities . However these are canceled following the memorandum.
Mariño is an ambassador of the Philippine Embassy in Koror for four and a half years. He arrived in Palau in January 2006.
