The 18th Tinian Municipal Council and Tinian Transit Services teamed up with the Tinian DPS Highway Safety in the Safe Ride Program over the holiday season. “This program was implemented to guarantee that our citizens planned a safe ride home, where we did the driving,” the council said. “Big thanks and appreciation go out to our Tinian Transit driver Antonette Shai, Safe Ride Program Coordinator & Highway Patrol Section Commander, Police Officer III Janel B. Aldan, Police Officer III Kerry Borja, Police Operations Commander Captain Elloy K. Fitial, and Acting Resident Department Head Sergeant Herbert C. Borja.”
