On Sept. 17, 2022, Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at San Isidro Beach Park, Medquest Medical Supply and the Upper Room International Ministry led Pastor Danilo Ibanez participated in this year’s International Coastal Cleanup. The 90 lbs of trash that the 24 volunteers picked up consisted mostly of cigarette butts, food wrappers and plastic water bottles. “Being a part of this event makes you feel more connected to nature,” said Ellen Joy P. Dionisio of Medquest Medical Supply. “While it is so disheartening to see trash in the sea and along the shoreline, the great news is that we can do something about it to help our environment,” she added. Medquest Medical Supply and Upper Room International Ministry believe that the annual cleanup “provides a fun and easy way to volunteer and engage with our mission to protect our environment.”
