(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for customers at the Joeten Subdivision in Fina Sisu. Customers should expect low water pressure to no water within the outage period.
The scheduled water service interruption is to allow CUC’s contractor for the Fina Sisu waterline replacement project to perform the temporary installation of the six-inch gate valve to isolate the existing six-inch ACP on Tun Antonio Apa Road to determine customers who are still connected to the old waterline. Customers should expect normal water service soon thereafter.
The Fina Sisu waterline replacement project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a more reliable water system. The transition work is in part of the decommissioning of the old waterline to eliminate risks of contamination and frequent line breaks.
