SENATOR Edith Deleon Guerrero on Thursday donated school supplies to Saipan Southern High School.
These included school bags, notebooks, water bottles, binders, colorful folders, pencils, highlighters, tapes, tape dispensers, erasers, ball pens and filler papers.
SSHS Vice Principal Arisa Sakai Peters received the donations on behalf of Principal Vince Dela Cruz who was in a meeting at the Public School System’s central office.
Peters said they were very grateful to the senator for her donations. “Students first all the time,” Peters added.
She said the donations will help many of their students.
Deleon Guerrero said her office still has some funds left so she decided to purchase school supplies for the students. She has made similar donations to Hopwood Middle School and Kagman Elementary School.
