Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert H. Yano said that 62-year-old Elia Tulop was transported to the hospital for treatment on Friday afternoon.
Yano said that a CPR was applied on Tulop while he was being transported to the hospital.Tulop was hooked up to the machine and was under observation at the Intensive Care Unit.Tulop succumbed the following day, Saturday.Yano said Tulop was a former Chief of Corrections and became later a governor and Delegate of Ngiwal.He was number 17 at the Senatorial race and ranked number 40 with an unofficial votes of 859.
