The SSHS Manta Ray Battalion Color Guard team was commanded by C/CSM Villagomez, Anthony who held the U.S. flag. His left guard is C/CPT Brondo, John, while his right guard is C/2LT Park, Ji Seong. C/2LT Cabrera, Antonio held the CNMI Flag.
ON Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, the JROTC Manta Ray Battalion Color Guard participated in the inauguration ceremony for Mayor Ramon B. Camacho from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Saipan Mayor’s Office.
The Color Guard presented the colors for the national and CNMI anthems.
During the singing of the national anthem, the CNMI flag was lower than the U.S. flag. The CNMI flag was leveled with the U.S. flag during the singing of the CNMI anthem.
When that was done, the Color Guard marched and posted the colors. After the colors were posted, they waited until called upon to retire the colors.
