ON the 16th of May 2023, Saipan Southern High School’s Manta Ray Battalion Color Guard participated in Northern Marianas College’s 12th Annual Nursing Pinning and Lighting of the Lamps Ceremony from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The ceremony was held at Saipan World Resort, Taga Hall in celebration of the graduating nurses’ entry into the nursing profession.
The cadets presented, posted, and retired the colors.
The color guard team was commanded by C/CSM John Brondo who held the U.S. flag, accompanied by his right guard C/CPT Antonio Cabrera, his left guard C/CPT Jaron Lifoifoi, and the CNMI flag held by C/1SG Sean Villaluz.
They were accompanied by SFC (Ret.) Deynarose Sunderland.
