According to police report, at around 9:15 a.m., Cleofe Yeh, a Chinese national, called the police office and asked for assistance after their Nissan Gray colored heavy truck with plate No. 2K1560 parked in front of the building was stolen.
She said the truck was parked at 7:00 p.m. but the following day, they discovered that the vehicle was missing.
No suspects have been identified. The case is under investigation.
On the same day, at around 8:30 a.m., an employee of Marine Resource Office also reported to the police that the digital camera owned by the office was missing.
Yoshua Eberdong said the silver camera with government tag is worth $500. It was seen two weeks ago placed on top of his table.
Eberdong said he tried to locate the camera but when he failed to find it, he then decided to file a report at the police.
The case is also under police investigation.
In other news, a total of $600 cash money was stolen from Ngirabelau Sambal’s house in Ngesaol, Koror, by an unknown suspect on Oct. 24.
According to the police investigation, the unknown suspect entered the house at the back door which was locked only with a thin wire. Suspect entered the victim’s bedroom and took away the money and three pieces of toluk (women’s money).
The case is pending further police investigation.
