Based on the police report at around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday Sen. Baules called the police and asked for assistance.
Police immediately responded and conducted an investigation. Initial probe showed that unknown suspect went to Mr. Lucio Obakerbau’s residence in Meyuns. He used their telephone and called the Fuji Restaurant asking to replace the order of assorted foods using the name of the Minister. After the order was done, the restaurant, then tried to confirm the telephone number but the suspect was gone. The telephone owner said somebody used the phone and failed to identify his name.
The case is under investigation..
Meanwhile, a man arrested for being a suspect of grand larceny is facing charges anew after he found a possession of marijuana during the police search.
Reynard Leong, male Palauan was arrested by the police on March 23 and brought to the office. Leong was the suspect of grand larceny incident at the Surangel Aiport project in Ngerikiil. While police conducting interview, they conducted a police search and found marijuana seeds, smoking pipe and set of wrappers.
The suspect was detained under the custody of Narcotics Division. The case is pending for further police investigation.
