According to the news, a Coast Guard Administration (CGA) was dispatched to rescue the vessel.
The report was made in Nov. 9.The fishing boat in distress was identified as the 44.66-ton Chin Yu Chun, registered in Liouciou township — a small island off Pingtung County.The new article said that the boat has crew members of eight which consists of two Taiwanese, a Chinese national and five Indonesians. Reports received by the radio station said the crew members’ lives were not in danger.It added that the cutter is expected to reach Palau waters in the early morning of Nov. 12 to provide assistance to the boat and its crew.
