Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon identified the driver as Baron Imeong.
Imeong was arrested for grand larceny for stealing his passenger’s money amounting to $100.Investigation showed that the victim reported a grand larceny incident at 10:37 am on Monday.The victim told police that she rode a taxi to Koror on Monday and asked the cab to wait for her while she headed to her office to get something.The victim left her purse on the cab and when she returned later to get her purse she discovered that $100 was already missing from her wallet.The driver was later located and admitted of stealing the money from his passenger.The money was returned to the victim.
