THE Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. has elected Edward M. Tofila Deleon Guerrero as its new chair and re-elected Polly Masga as vice chair. Both will serve a two-year term.
Deleon Guerrero was first appointed to the board in 2019 and brings to CHCC his experience in business and governmental consulting services.
Masga was first appointed to the board in 2018 and has extensive experience in healthcare clinic management and human resources.
“While this pandemic has been hard on many of our residents and our employees, CHCC will continue to deliver quality, comprehensive healthcare to our community,” Deleon Guerrero said.
“I hope to continue to build upon [former chair] Lauri Ogumoro’s work. The board and I look forward to serving the needs of our residents and employees.”
The board’s purpose is to govern CHCC and is responsible for preparing its strategic and business plans, annual budget and report, employment guidelines, and other policies.
Besides Ogumoro, who has been on the board since 2017, the other CHCC board member is Corrine Santos.
