Toribiong said during the dinner that he was grateful for the efforts that each employee of the ministry had put into ensuring that the children of Palau continue to be successful in their educational pursuits.
Toribiong further added that the commitment that each individual employee has taken had contributed to the success of the students who graduated this year and those who were promoted to a higher level of schooling.Some of the employees of the ministry had point out they were appreciative of Toribiongs’s gesture and are grateful. They further added that the presence of his cabinet members at the dinner is indicative of his stand on education – one of the top priorities of his administration,The dinner was held at Rip Tide Bar and Grill in Malakal, Koror and was personally paid for by Toribiong. More than 100 employees of the Ministry of Education, Senator Regina Mesebeluu, Vice President Kerai Mariur, Minister Sandra Pierantozzi, Minister Harry Fritz, Minister Jackson Ngiraingas, Minister Masa-Aki Emesiochl, Minister Stevenson Kuartei, and other guests attended the dinner.
