Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert H. Yano said that the auto-pedestrian incident was the second incident in four days.
Yano said before the hit and run incident, police received a call of auto crash collision in the same area on September 25 at 10:40 p.m.Yano said two vehicles reportedly collided in front of the Furusato restaurant on the night of September 25.Yano said both of the drivers of the sedan and pick up were not seriously hurt but they were both cited for traffic violations.The driver of the sedan was cited for reckless driving while the driver of the pick-up truck was cited for unregistered vehicle.Then four days later, on the night of September 29, a teenager was hit by a vehicle while walking on Ernguul Highway in front of the Furusato restaurant.
