COMMUNITY volunteer Max Aguon is once again asking the community’s cooperation to ensure that trash at the Chalan Kanoa cemetery is disposed of properly.
Trash has been disposed in the area where Mass is celebrated at the Chalan Kanoa cemetery.
Noting that the annual All Souls/All Saints Day commemoration is fast approaching, Aguon said “Many people will start cleaning up the resting places of their loved ones at the cemetery. Please don’t just dump your trash anywhere — dispose of it in designated areas.”
On Wednesday he said he started removing trash from the cemetery. Aguon said he saw many trash bags left near the area where Mass is celebrated.
He said another volunteer, Gerry Agulto, helped him clean up the cemetery.
Aguon is known for conducting cleanup activities around the island all year round.
