The president said instead of replacing the old pumps with new pumps, rewinding and fabrication of pumps is being done to repair the damaged parts immediately.Two pumps at the Water Treatment Plant located in Airai broke down last week causing the government to institute water hours until the repairs are completed.There are four pumps which operate at the treatment plant, three pumps are needed to properly operate the plant.Koror residents are affected by the repair because the water supply will be turned off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Water meanwhile is open from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
