Lt. Peter Napoleon withheld the name of the woman pending investigation of the case.
Napoleon said the officers responded to a domestic incident report that took place at Topside and upon arrival at the scene, they saw the woman.
One of the officers approached the woman but the woman slapped the officer’s face.
Another officer approached to try to assist his colleague in controlling the woman but he too was slapped in the face by the woman.
Napoleon said the woman was arrested for assault and battery.
Meanwhile, one of the three men who assaulted another man was also arrested on Saturday night.
Randy Mitsuo was apprehended for assault and battery in Madelaii for physically assaulting a man.
The victim called police at 10:55 pm and reported that he was assaulted by three men identified as Mitsuo, Teruich Polycarp and Teriong Meteruay.
Police responded to the scene but Polycarp and Meteruay managed to flee on foot and only Mitsuo was arrested from the scene.
