In her congratulatory letter to Berag, Dr. Vita A. Skilling, secretary of the FSM Department of Social Affairs said: “It gives me great pleasure to write to you to inform you that your entry in the essay contest…was received, read and ranked by the participants of the…summit…and…chosen as this year’s Winner.”
Dr. Skilling stated that the letter was to convey her department’s congratulations for Berag’s participation in the contest and for her well-thought out essay.
Berag will be invited to participate in the next summit which is tentatively scheduled to be held in Chuuk in March 2012 and that her attendance will be funded by the FSM Public Health and Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program.
