6JMS Vicious and Last Shot Darty Secret triumphed over their respective opponents Monday in the Ladies Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Dart League.
6JMS Vicious manhandled the 9 Eleven Chickazz Bull-It, 12-3.
At first, Bull-It played as equals with Birdie Aldan and Selma Taitano splitting the opening 301 Double In/Double Out match with Vicious’ Jamie Hayes and Virginia “Gin” Cruz for a 2-2 tie.
However, that was the end of Bull-It’s spotlight as they were completely silenced for nearly the rest of the night.
Vicious’s winning streak started at the next Partners Crazy Cricket with Emy Oiterong and Mary-Lois Blaluk, along with Frances Magofna and Hayes, winning both games for a 2-win sweep.
Vicious followed up with yet another two-win sweep in the Partners 501 match to take a comfortable 6-2 lead.
Even in the one-on-one scene, Vicious remained in charge as they collected four more wins in the Singles Regular Cricket match led by Lois whose points per dart average was 2.08.
Bull-It finally stopped the bleeding thanks to the teamwork of Aldan and Lupe Kaipat who split the Partners Half-It match. But Vicious quickly picked up where they left off, claiming the remaining two games to seal the deal, 12-3.
Darty Secret vs Smokerz
Last Shot Darty Secret, for their part, outlasted Oleai Tracy’s Smokerz, 8-7.
In the opening match, Darty Secret established control with Rena Reftang, Neigh Helgens and Momoko Halstead notching wins for a 3-1 advantage.
The Smokerz tried to even the score but Darty Secret held their ground and managed to stay afloat, splitting the next four matches.
Although the Smokerz’s teamwork highlighted the final Team 1101 Double In/Double Out match, they still fell short in the end by one win, and had to settle for defeat, 7-8.
