Bridge Capital, TSL support Saipan Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Golf Tournament

(SCC) — Bridge Capital LLC and the Tan Siu Lin  Foundation are among the hole-in-one sponsors of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Golf Tournament.

Both have contributed $1,000 each for an event that will raise funds for the chamber’s educational and vocational scholarship program.

“We are happy to give back to the SCC and their scholarship golf tournament, and good luck to all of the golfers this Saturday!” Bridge Capital general manager Bartley A. Jackson said.

“Bridge Capital has always been a friend and supporter of the chamber, and we’re grateful they’ve committed as a hole-in-one sponsor,” SCC vice president and golf chairman Shayne Villanueva said.

“We’re grateful for general manager Bart Jackson, office manager Julie Duenas, and the entire Bridge Capital Office for supporting our efforts. We look forward to using their donation to give back to our students and support higher education in the CNMI,” Villanueva.

Another long-time educational and vocational scholarship program supporter is the TSL Foundation.

According to its executive director Merlie Tolentino, “The TSL Foundation would like to recognize the Saipan Chamber of Commerce for its resolute efforts in finding ways to help our high school graduates continue their quest for higher education. Let’s support the SCC 2021 Scholarship Golf Tournament and keep providing opportunities for CNMI students.”

Along with a financial contribution, the TSL Foundation  also contributed 200 dry-fit shirts for players and volunteers.

Chamber vice president and golf chairman Shayne Villanueva expressed gratitude for TSL’s financial and event contributions. “This donation will go directly to supporting the scholarship fund, and because of TSL, this will be our first tournament where golfers are walking away with tournament t-shirts. We’re thankful for all that executive director Merlie Tolentino, president Jerry Tan, and the entire TSL family contribute to our community.”

The SCC Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2021. The event is sold out, and golfers can pick up their pre-registration packets at the SCC office in the Marianas Business Plaza, Room #413.
