CHRISTIAN Camacho continues to rule the Big Boy ATV Class of the 2022 Monster Energy Points Race after yet another flawless performance in round 6 Sunday at Cow Town Raceway Park.
With the season reaching its end, the racers gave it their all, and in the Big Boy ATV Class, it came down to the wire.
In the first heat, Christian Camacho and Henry Camacho fought for first place. For the first three laps, Christian led with Henry just behind him.
Henry managed to accelerate, but Christian kept his cool and focused on executing jumps and turns with finesse, eventually taking the lead once again to finish first for 25 points while Henry settled for second for 22 points. Rex Susulin came in third for 20 points.
In heat 2, Christian rode the momentum and finished first once again for a 50-point performance followed by Henry in second place with 44 points and Susulin in third with 40 points.
Veterans Class
In the Veterans Class, Champi Villacanes topped both heats with 50 points. Cuki Alvarez finished second with 44 points followed by Dave Celis in third with 40 points.
Intermediate Class
Corry Pangelinan kept his streak going by finishing first in the Intermediate Class with a 50-point performance. The battle for second place was between Tristan Sablan and Henry Camacho Jr. both of whom earned 42 points. But Sablan finished second because he outraced Camacho Jr. in heat 2.
Expert Class
It was a father and son battle in the Expert Class. In heat 1, Cuki Alvarez took the helm as he kept a steady speed through the track to claim first place with 25 points while son Alverick Alvarez trailed behind with 22 points.
But in heat 2, Alverick stole the show and never looked back after gaining the lead, beating his father who settled for second place.
Although they both notched 47 points, the heat 2 results served as the tie breaker, giving Alverick the top spot while Cuki took second place.
Ellery Cruz and Patrick Togawa both finished with 36 points, but Cruz claimed third place because he had the better heat 2 result.
