6JMS Hella Darty claimed the Bud Light Cup in the B Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association League by shooting down 6JMS Shaka 8-1 on Tuesday at the 6JMS Sports Bar.
In the opening Partners 501 Double In/Double Out, Hella Darty’s Jared Ayuyu and Ping Kapileo clinched victory while team mates Stan Ngalen and Mike Iguel followed suit to give Hella Darty a 2-0 lead.
The team excelled in the individual matches as well with Toby “T-Bag” Castro keeping the momentum ablaze while Ngalen and Ayuyu likewise delivering to expand their lead, 5-0.
Although Shaka’s Edward San Nicolas managed to break the silence with a solo win over Kapileo in the final game of the Singles Crazy Cricket match, that was the only point that Shaka could garner for the remainder of the night.
As they returned to the partners match, Hella Darty rekindled the flames.
Mike Iguel joined Castro to bag their team’s sixth win while their seventh was collected by Ayuyu and Ngalen. Ayuyu then added the eighth and final win in the Singles Half-It to secure the championship.
Before the championship round, Hella Darty outplayed Just Chillin’ Team Kalakas 8-3 while Shaka edged 6JMS Champinos 8-6 and outlasted Just Chillin Bulachelus 8-7.
