EUNAE “Sophia” Jang won the CNMI Women’s Golf Association’s November tournament at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort west court on Saturday.
Jang played well overall, but on hole #2, she had to make a total of eight strokes. However, she managed to shake off a rough start and refined her swing on the remaining holes to end with a gross of 44.
Jang further improved her game on the back nine for a gross of 42. Her combined gross was 86, but with a handicap of 19, her net score was 67, good enough to win the November title.
In second place was Lorraine Babauta who shot a gross total of 81 and, with an 11 handicap, a net score of 70.
Finishing third was Mio Kim whose net score was 73.
