FLOR Jones emerged victorious in the CNMI Women’s Golf Association’s May Ace of the Month tournament Saturday on the East Course of the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

Jones had a decent start despite opening with a bogey at hole #1 as she balanced her performance with two pars in the following three holes.
The front nine still proved to be a tough course as she ended with a 10-over par and a gross of 46. The back nine was no different as she continued with a consistent stroke to end with a gross score of 46 for a total of 92.
With a handicap of 19, her net score was 73 which gave her the top spot.
Terry Guerrero gave Jones a good scare but was a point behind and had to settle for second place. She scored 50 on the front nine and slightly improved on the back nine with a score of 47 for a combined gross of 97. With a handicap of 23, her net score was 74.
In third place was Sae Hee Kim who scored a gross of 44 on the front nine and 42 on the back nine for a total gross of 86. Supported by a handicap of 11, her net score was 75.
