Kadokura was simply unmatched as he cleared the three-day tournament without a scratch.
In the quarterfinals, he went up against Ian Chae in a match that saw several lead exchanges.
Fortunately for Kadokura, his ability to stay efficient and aggressive was the key factor to his victory as he outlasted Chae 6-4 in the first set and kept the pressure going in the second to triumph 6-3 and secure a spot in the semifinals.
Kadokura stuck to his strategy against Henry Yeom who gave a good fight in the opening set.
Kadokura remained focused and played safe, holding his ground long enough to notch the win, 6-4.
This victory further boosted Kadokura’s morale as he took over the second set, leaving Yeom with barely any room to retaliate. Kadokura won 6-1 to move on to the final round.
Siwoo Lee, who also cooked up two straight wins, found himself in the finale against Kadokura.
However, Lee’s journey was cut short as Kadokura was clearly the superior player in both sets which he won 6-2, 6-1 to claim the BS 12 title,
Other winners

Woo then defeated David Kwon 6-1, 6-2 and Andy Kim 4-0, 4-2 to bag the championship.
For his part, Cody Shimizu clinched the BS 16 title by a hair. Shimizu and June Yu ended the tournament with three wins and one loss so a match between them decided the championship.
