SGA’s Long Knockers Nick Sablan and Steve Balakrishna blazed the trail in the front and back 9 with their longest drives at holes #2 and #11. John Cruz won the Closest-to-the-Pin (KP) at hole #6, while Patrick Guerrero took #8, Bob Magofna #12 and Frances Sablan #16.
Nick Sablan, Ray San Nicolas, along with new comers Manny Blas and Larry Hocog caught one birdie each, while Bob Magofna and Ed Manibusan caught two each.
Three golfers were recognized for their lowest net score at SGA President Mariano & Mrs. Fajardo’s Residence on Feb. 27 at the February Ace Banquet John Cruz, fondly known as Nani, shot a net score of one under par (71) placing him 1st, Bob Magofna shot a net score of 73, placing him 2nd.
Ray San Nicolas shot a net score of 74, placing him 3rd. John Cruz now joins the January 2011 SGA Ace, Tony Deleon Guerrero in preparing for the End of the Year and Ace of Aces Tournament scheduled in November and December 2011.
New member Patrick Guerrero trailed the top three finishers with a net score of 75, followed by Joe Demapan 76, new member Manny Blas 76.5, Jung Eun Teack, Nick Sablan, and new member Larry Hocog tied with a 77.
January’s Ace Tony Deleon Guerrero, Ed Manibusan, and new member Manny Sablan tied with a 79, Ray Salas 80, Norbert Sablan 81, Joe Sablan 82, Joe Deleon Guerrero 83, Martin Sablan, and Frances Sablan tied with a 84.
The two brothers, Art and Larry Deleon Guerrero, tied with a 85, Ben Aldan and Ed Sablan tied with a 86, Mariano Fajardo 88, and Steve Balakrishna finished with a 94.
