5 homers secure Man Amigos’ win over Freedom Air

 

Julian Camacho who went 3-for-4 also rocketed a three-run home run; Jerry Ayuyu had a two-run home run and JJ Laniyo, a solo home run to help the Man Amigos complete an insurmountable 25-run feat for their ninth victory and made themselves a major threat to one of the undefeated teams.

Reno Celis and Ray Kaipat helped the Freedom Air Flyers evade the 14-run rule by connecting a three-run home run and a solo home run respectively in the fourth inning.

But the Man Amigos who did not complete runs despite two base hits in the third inning were back in the winning form in the top of the fifth with Ayuyu’s two-run shot and Laniyo’s solo home run.

Hitz 21, Calikano Falcons 14

Fonze Tarope and Frank Ilo hit a two-run home run and Kyle Kaipat had a solo shot leading the Hitz to their 21-14 victory over the Calikano Falcons.

After Lee Monkeya’s walk and Jun Kaipat’s out in the left field, Tarope blasted a two-run home run to put up the lead in the first inning.

Ruben Olkeriil knocked-in a two-run double while Tarope, Ilo and Manny Cabrera hit a run-scoring single apiece in the top of the second inning.

Monkeya had his second base hit that drove-in two run before Ilo fired his two-run home run to help the Hitz keep the lead in the fourth inning.

Kyle’s solo home run in the fifth inning was the only run the Hitz had, and the Calikano Falcons launched their first try to come back with Nunu Kapileo’s three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth.

But Jun Kaipat and Cabrera added an RBI single apiece in the top of the sixth inning and the Hitz never looked back.

Lancheros 20, Red Eye 11

The Lancheros survived Red Eye’s hard hitting feat and scored runs in most of the innings to secure their 20-11 victory.

Leonard Camacho made it to the scoring spot with a triple and John Maratita drove him in with a single in the top of the first inning.

Bill Aguon had an RBI single and Joe Fejeran drove-in run on a fielder’s choice.

The Lancheros continued the surge in the second inning with Camacho leading off a single before Maratita launched his second base hit.

Jess Cabrera knocked-in a run-scoring double, James Kintol fired a two RBI single, and Anson Jones, Dimas Omar and Nathan Bermudez hit run-scoring single apiece.

After two straight scoreless inning, Camacho and Omar rocketed run-scoring double in the sixth and the Lancheros secured the win.

UR Balls 22, Team Fuegu 5

Marvin Kaipat launched a two-run homer while Joe Lizama and Ben Cepeda had connected solo home runs in the top of the first inning and the UR Balls never trailed leading to their 22-5 rout of Team Fuegu.

Mike Taitano led off a triple and Al Lizama Sr., drove-in two runs with a single in the first inning.

The  UR Balls continued the bursts in the second inning with run-scoring home runs from Kaipat, Lizama and Cepeda.

Then, the UR Balls capped the win with a run-scoring double from Taitano and a two-run home run from Oliver Secharmidal.
