A+ CONSULTING bagged another win in the masters division of the 2025 IT&E-United Filipino Organization Basketball League by taking down the Eagles, 83-60, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium on Sunday.
A+ Consulting found their rhythm early in the game with each player on the court contributing to a first-half lead.
Fradel Sedillo and Deshawn Reign acted as the sparkplugs for their team. Sedillo connected the opening shot while Reign followed with back-to-back finishes from underneath the rim.
The rest of the team then joined the onslaught with Ales Robles, Jun Estolas, and Alex Lauron chipping in a combined 16 points to further stretch the deficit.
Alviz, Juanito Gonzales, and Dennis Cortez of the Eagles kept their team in the game, but A+ Consulting continued to deliver on their end, with Gab Camacho coming off the bench to score six points and Andrew Ashburn adding four, pushing the lead to double digits going into halftime, 37-26.
The lead grew further out of reach throughout the second half as A+ Consulting maintained efficiency. Estolas remained the biggest threat from beyond the arc draining two triples while teammates Donny Fejeran and Ashburn contributed a trey each.
The Eagles fought back with Alviz and Gonzales leading the frontline, but they made more misses than makes, giving A+ Consulting more scoring opportunities. A+ Consulting capitalized on each defensive stop, with Joel Javier and Edong Echavez sinking the final two shots to seal the deal, 83-60.
Blue Haus vs KPro
Joining the winner’s circle was Blue Haus, which outlasted KPro, 77-70.
Ron Gamboa led the offense for Blue Haus with 12 points, but KPro answered with six three-pointers to end the first half in a 33-33 deadlock.
Blue Haus took control in the second half, sparked by Junar Guiab’s back-to-back buckets. Jorge de Guzman, Melvin Capalad, JR Barrios, and Elmer Esdrelon then closed out the final 10 minutes to lock in a 77-70 win over KPro.
