Reyes who helped Aguaguat struggle against Legislature in last Monday’s game went one notch higher this time as he scattered 23 points for 68-62 victory.
He basketed his three free throws.
CPA was leading by four points in the first quarter when Reyes and Jason Lizama rallied to advance in the second quarter and never looked back.
John Paul Sablan who established early lead in the first quarter and went scoreless in the third quarter raged with defensive during the decisive run of the final quarter and scored three points to finish with a total of 11 points.
Jason Sablan scored 10 points.
NMC 88, BoG 84
Mark Wallace hit two three pointers and went 5-for-7 to score 31 points and Jose Tumaquip basketed a three-pointer in the second and third quarters to make Northern Marianas College the second team to beat BoG, 88-84.
Tumaquip hit 20 markers.
Gyles Ruluked who went scoreless in the first half rampaged with two-point shots in the third and fourth quarter to help NMC’s earn its fourth win in the regular season. He scored 16 points.
Jerry Diaz scored 11 points and Lawrence Buniag added eight.
BoG’s James Villacrusis scored 31 points including three three-pointers.
