Aldan still prince of the lanes

Aldan knocked down 641 pins to beat his rivals, averaging 160.25 per game. He came short in game one with 126 pinfalls while former prince of the lanes Marion Mckenzie struck 128. Jumping ahead of them was Leeanne Yarobwemal, who recorded 159 pinfalls.

Aldan’s top scores derived from games two and three, where he tallied 171 and 202, respectively. His 142 pinfalls in game four were topped by Marion and Marcel Mckenzie – it was all over however, before they could catch up any further. Marion dropped to 125 pinfalls in the second round, but charged for 193 and 151 more in the last two games. He totaled with 597 pinfalls, landing him right behind Aldan.

Despite her great start, Yarobwemal fell behind Marion by one pin in game two and slowly declined in the last half of the tournament. Her additional 269 pinfalls were enough to land her at third place with a total of 552.

Also in the tournament was fourth placer Nikko Gutierrez with 496 pinfalls and a 124 average. Marcel placed right below Gutierrez with 482 pinfalls.

Aldan won last October and November’s tournaments but lost to Marion in September by one pin.
