(NMC) — In support of funding higher education in the CNMI, Ambyth Shipping and Seafix Incorporated will be offering a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize at the Northern Marianas College Foundation’s Golf Open on March 23 and 24, 2024 at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort.
“We are proud to contribute $10,000 to the NMC Golf Open to help pave the way for a brighter future for the CNMI. Investing in education is investing in a brighter tomorrow for the CNMI, and we hope that this helps add excitement to this year’s Golf Open,” said Ambyth Shipping Vice President Andrew Miller.
NMC’s tournament will be a two-day event and the tournament fee is $250.
“We’re truly grateful to Ambyth Shipping for their commitment to lasting impact in higher education. On behalf of the NMC Foundation, we thank you,” said Ben Babauta, chair of the NMC Foundation.
The tournament, which is also the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide access to quality education for the residents of the Commonwealth.
Like previous tourneys, this upcoming tournament will offer thousands of dollars in amazing prizes such as a 2024 Lexus RX350 from Atkins Kroll, a 2023 Honda Civic Type R from Joeten Motors, a $10K Shopping Spree from Top Shelf Wine and Spirits, a $10K Cash Prize from Pacifica Insurance, and a $3K Cash Prize from McDonald’s of Saipan.
