But that was it for the Trubak. The Salty Boys held them scoreless in the next five innings except the last, fielding Trubak’s many attempts and fly balls.
Andres who lasted seven innings allowed only three hits from second to sixth inning.
Percy Omechelang connected a double and Knee Tutii tied the game in the third with his sacrifice bat.
Darwin Masaharu knocked in a run-scoring double and Keleleman drove-in a run with a sacrifice fly to bring Salty Boys in the upper ground.
Trubak’s Roger Mai stole second and batted home and Walles Emul rocketed a run-scoring single to tie the game in the seventh inning.
Andres handed Salty Boys their 9-3 win with his two-run single in the bottom of the seventh.
Lancheros 16, Kagman Jacks 9
Bill Aguon hit a solo home run in the first, Manny Tenorio and Donald Crisostimo led the rally in the seven-run fourth inning by connecting two-run doubles to help the Lancheros beat the Kagman Jacks, 16-9.
Crisostimo’s two-run single in the second inning gave the Lancheros the lead and Ray Aldan held the Kagman Jacks scoreless in two consecutive innings.
The Kagman Jacks rallied in the fifth inning with Jess and Jeff Cabrera hitting run-scoring singles, Joe Flores a run-scoring double and Tony Norita a run-scoring triple.
But these were not enough as the Lancheros went into base hitting spree again in the sixth inning to win the game.
Peleliu 23, Choll Aces 18
Peleliu and Choll Aces defended their field in the first inning before the rampage of run-scoring base hits from both teams ensued.
Peleliu took the first shot by lambasting Choll Aces with seven run-scoring base hits to complete the second inning.
Choll Aces retaliated in the fourth inning pulverizing Peleliu with Felix Remoket and Esang Olkeriil knocking in three triples, Benito Eskawa a double and the rest of the batters hitting singles to lead the game.
Peleliu bounced back in the sixth inning with Dennis Renguul hitting grand slam for their 23-18 victory.
