Agape Team 1 members raise their hands in celebration after finishing first and setting a new course record in Northern Marianas Athletics’ Annual Christmas Island Relay 2023 at Micro Beach.
NORTHERN Marianas Athletics will host its Annual Christmas Island Relay this Saturday in the Marianas Beach Resort/Micro Beach area.
The event has always attracted dozens of running enthusiasts. This year, they will cruise along the western coast of Saipan on a 13.7-mile-long course. The race will begin at 6 a.m., but NMA will consider a staggered start if needed.

On race day, only the first runner or team captain will be allowed at the start line. Teams must tag off with a baton and provide their own support vehicles and water.
Last year, Agape Team 1 not only claimed first place but they also set a new course record with a time of 1:11.14.
